African Connections works closely with local government and traditional authorities to facilitate the efforts of District Assemblies to achieve the objectives of the District Development plans. In line with this, African Connections has developed important relationships with the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Environment, the Institute of Local Government Studies IILGS) and the National Association of Local Authorities in Ghana (NALAG).
African Connections in collaboration with these institutions organizes trade missions to provide delegates with opportunities to market their investment potentials in their respective areas to interested business investors. The trade missions are also to explore public-private partnerships. The delegation has opportunities to meet with U.S. government officials and gather important information about U.S initiatives from which Ghana can benefit. |
